Jingle Like Your Last Name’s Kringle

“Do give books – religious or otherwise – for Christmas. They’re never fattening, seldom sinful, and permanently personal.” – Lenore Hershey

Christmastide is upon us! πŸ˜€ The lights, the smells, the trees, the baking, the presents! It’s the time of year where you get to give and receive, get to go crazy with lights and “forget” how much the bill will cost, and get to eat your heart out on all those baking goods cause you have a week until that New Years resolution hits again. Its the time of year where your not fat, your “jolly”; you get to drink a shit load of eggnog and say its cause you love it and not because ALL your relatives are spending the holidays under your roof; and you get to go shopping with the best intentions, like saying your cousin really needed that shirt cause she’d love it…and those five outfits you bought for yourself.

Yup, nothing does the year good like a little Christmas. πŸ˜‰ And remember to keep books on the brain when you need to give a gift. The quote above explains it perfectly.

Also, just an FYI, I’m counting down the 25 Days of Christmas on my Facebook and Twitter, so check it out if you want to see some Christmas cheer. πŸ™‚

  1. You’re so cool! I do not believe I’ve truly read through something like this before.
So great to find someone with some genuine thoughts on this topic.
Really.. thanks for starting this up. This site is one
thing that is required on the web, someone with a bit of originality!
